Safety briefing and introductory lesson

Our staff takes the time to ensure that all attendees have a fantastic experience. After fitting the equipment, we will give you a few minutes safety briefing and a beginners lesson. For our experienced paddlers, our staff are there to provide advice and answer questions. When you return from your aquatic adventure, our staff will always be there to welcome you and find out how your experience was.

Equipment fitting process

All participants are properly outfitted by a staff member with a Canadian Coast Guard approved life jacket or PFD. Your personal flotation device is designed to save lives and should always be worn on the water.

Closed shoes are strongly recommended

Closed shoes are strongly recommended for all participants using a kayak, water bike or SUP.

Neoprene slippers are the most suitable for paddling activities. We recommend wearing a shoe that covers the whole foot like water shoes or old running shoes. Flip-flop style shoes are not recommended, as they fall off easily when the foot hits the muddy bottom of the sea.
